We coach through conversations. Most of our coaching clients prefer face-to-face conversations about every two to three weeks. No matter how busy your schedule, we can work together to find out what mode of communication and frequency works best for you.

Our goal for each meeting, and our overall relationship, is to help you accomplish your goals. We work from your agenda and we’re highly flexible. Many clients find their leadership goals evolve throughout the coaching process, which is perfectly fine. We will help you identify the areas you want to improve and work together to address them. We will also sometimes suggest homework between meetings that will enhance the benefits you receive from the coaching process.

Listening may be our most important skill as a leader. We achieve our best results from our entire team rather than simply our own contributions. To inspire our people requires trusting relationships, and we must listen intentionally, that is to understand and to learn, to earn their trust.
Emotional intelligence is that “something” within us, that something that helps us to sense how we feel and enables us to sympathize with others. Great leaders are keenly aware of their own emotions and able to perceive the feelings of those around them. We work with senior leaders to improve their self-awareness, social awareness, and relationship management.
Effective use of soft leadership skills can positively impact how people feel and respond. We feel that business leaders have a responsibility to ensure that colleagues feel valued, appreciated and respected. We help senior and mid-level managers understand how to practice these skills and better relate to their team members.
We must have productive working relationships with our people. They want to do well, do good work and advance. Our role as a leader is to help them. That must be our main focus and our greatest contribution to our company’s culture.
Knowing what success looks like with our stakeholders, our external and our internal clients, is very important. It’s our responsibility as a leader to assure that those who report to us understand our expectations and that we know what they need from us as their boss so that they may do great work and succeed. And each client, external and internal, may have different needs, so we cannot assume, we must ask.
